I woke up today with an urge, an urge to run!
Run away from all the stagnation around my life. I know the feelings I have and the reactions I show are products of whats within so running would be pointless. But.
It would be so much nicer to have these dead-weight thoughts in a 100 degrees sat by a swimming pool with a massive cocktail on the go.
I like the sea, I always have. It detracts so much from the human condition. Here is a living mass so much larger than you and it will take you and knock you about if you dont focus! I like that. I had a jet-sky once, I would ride for hours, because, when I was on the sea. It was total and perfect. attend! Concentrate! feel!
I ramble. But, in a way its not cos when I write poetry I get a little of that feeling back. Total immersion. There is nothing else for a few minutes.. As the words bounce into my mind all the old rubbish of life is gone.
I admit to you my unseen friends-I am scared of never feeling that wave-soaked sting of the sea again.
