Children of Insanity

Cities of hustle,

Citadels of steel and glass.

Defied heights of clouds.

Futile, undermined attempts of Shine,

To bring a silver of shimmer;

In the dark hues of clogged sky.

Cities of hustle,

Towers of solitude,

Unheard greetings, tired fake smiles.

Monotonous bustle of automatons,

Defied distinction between men and machines,

Geared laughter and mechanical feelings.

Honking; synonymous to lullaby.

An interim hum synchronized with the heartbeats.

Insane trials, insane trying.

Paradoxical circular lives,

Discrete and measured thoughts,

We are children of insanity.

impossible

let me not weave words on the sands of the shore...the sea of striking brilliance of such poetry shall swiftly rise an' erase them with loud heartless laughters. dude this is freaking insanity of genius. this is sick.

Jayne...

I heart your appreciation. It's a sickening contradiction, but a blatant truth that millions of souls trample each other, yet they are lost in there profound solitudes. Thank you so much for reading my poem. Regards Pragyan.
