Sailing
Today is a new day...to go forward..to strive for the best life has to offer. Today we had our Distinctive Luncheon and I won the center piece. I was totally amazed and also won another gift. It was an excellent luncheon on the outskirts of the bay over looking the water. As I sat and watched all the sail boats coming in and going out I thought of how nice it would to sail on a sailboat and venture the world to see more of what life has to offer. Each place I would go I would write something meaningful and inspirational to me, or write of how I feel and what ever else comes to soul.. I have always been intrigued with the sun, the moon, the stars, the ocean, the many beautiful sunrises and sunsets
. The view is a view of something I love to admire inside, nature, birds, trees,ocean waters, waves and beautiful sand.. Someday I shall take that cruise on the sailboat of life and get to see many things and visit many places that mine eyes have never seen. When you work 50 -60 hours a week and then you come home sometimes there is no time to do anything else. I have learned in the last year to take time for myself, my son and those around me.
As I continue my writing I am everyday learning the different types of poetry and in each one I gather something from it that was unbeknown to me previously. For this I am thankful for everyday is a learning adventure. I love the concept of delving deeper into areas I have never been to before..for once in my life adapting to change as change is what brought me to my writing.
I look to the sun for warmth, as the moon for reflection and the sea to sail me into those new horizons. It is a wonderful place to be and go.... only in thought it sure feels good there for the time being...
