SMS

Oh SMS please fly with speed
For you have the power my valiant steed
Deliver the message of heart felt gladness
No further pain, nor sorrow nor sadness

I wish to advise to all that would read
Today's the day I am to be freed
So SMS please make great haste
Please for my love, no time to waste

Oh SMS just fly through walls
To the one I love, the one I adore

You twisted my arm, lol. I like it and it is a quirky write and I am sorry she said no, but if you dont ask, you never know, now you can set your sights higher hun. Lol. I mean it. I would like to give you 5 more stars for steppin up, being the man so to speak. Whats done is done, no going back, only forwards and good comes to those who wait, but please push a little as well, lol. Your sms poem was quite good, so keep them comin. Be proud. Love Lyz, XX.

She is just a memory and I

She is just a memory and I think her potential may out weigh her reality which would be quite sad but destiny is not for everyone, just a lucky few that believe with every ounce of their being, behave themselves and are strong of character. Liz, if you and Jayne get together and decide on a topic or genre I will write a poem to suit. I could do the same for you guys.....what do ya think?? Neopoet would be the richer for it and I think we could have some fun.. Best regards Stuart P.S let me know :-)

If a poem could be a cutey,

If a poem could be a cutey, this would be mine :-) I wanted it to have the feel of that modern remake of Romeo and Juliet with Claire Danes and Leonardo Di Caprio. Kind of old meets new once again. Thanks guys for the comments, I really mean it. If you give people poems to read that dont read poems its such a waste if they dont appreciate them you know. So happy that you guys like this little offering Best Regards Stuart

You did just that, Stuart,

You did just that, Stuart, that was the image that came to my mind. R & J texting. Glad that it never came to the potion drinking. ;-) Speaking of the flick versions of Shakespeare, my son fell him love with his work through them. The first was *Ran* ~ a Japanese version of King Lear in 1985. Branagh's *Much Ado About Nothing* (a favourite) etc. came afterward. We've become visual junkies, and our hands more dexterous through texting and surfing. lol. ~A There are no strangers in Paradise.

Yes, i agree….self

Yes, i agree....self confessed visual junkie.. I learn so much more from audio visual than I ever will from reading...just the way I learn I am really glad that R&J came to mind.... THANKS ~A

Aww Stu, I love this poem!! I had a real belly laugh of familiarity and my thoughts were exactly.... "oh, it sounds like leo in Baz's R&J".
