We Don't Need No Steenkin' Rules!

The contests for 2009 all have specific rules. The rules are outlined in the contests thread:

If you have entered a contest and you did not adhere to all of the rules posted what happens?
You entry is not considered. it is invalid. It is disqualified. And it is up to you, the entrant, to make certain you have followed all posted rules. Unless you have made individual arrangements with someone, no one will check your entry and tell you it needs to be modified to adhere to the published rules, it will simply not be considered.
Contests exist for two (2) main reasons
1) Force us to write in ways we may not normally explore
2) To be fun
If you are entering contests, review the rules and adhere to them. If you believe contests should be defined differently, get involved.
