The Odyssey of a Lotus
The Odyssey of a Lotus
The Lotus sought to rise above its unstable beginning
Surviving a certain ruin in hopes of joining things that were living, not just alive
Giving up was not an option for something born from the depths of mud
It pushed its way out of a seed to reach the warmth of the sun
Ding-dong rang the bells of truth off the shores of tomorrow ushering in the new day
The Lotus had learned to care about itself, insuring its survival in a world without worth
For the hand of Forgiveness held it once gently and greeted its beauty with all the innocence of a child
A Forgiveness which knew that finding the light had been the Lotus' greatest achievement
And its most difficult journey
