COME TODAY, COME TOMORROW
COME TODAY, COME TOMORROW
Honesty was the word
For a procurement agent
To attract the offer, that came
Silently so, on a platter of gold
Come today, come tomorrow
Rights were ticked on appraisal
Something bigger will come
Showering with golden coins
Nothing noble comes so easy
Come today, come tomorrow
Then the struggle began
The stakes were raised so high
And the journey similarly long
Like the Israelites out of Egypt
Come today, come tomorrow
When the match began in full
Trepidations forced out adrenalin
Anxiety rose with expectations
The post was shifted suddenly
Come today, come tomorrow
Where do I begin the tale
Stories of struggle within a tale
Put your mind on familiar things
And a tale is crafted for the ears
Come today, come tomorrow
