I
By Ink Dragon , 29 July, 2009
I am currently setting all my poems to be accessed by "members only". This will result in one or two of my old poems being reposted to the stream, as I am going through "edit" to do so.

The reason why I have decided to do this is simple: I am trying for publication, and there are many publishers who will not accept your work if it can be found on the net. By setting the poems to "members only", they get taken off search engines and thus will not be considered "previously published". (They are not "published" here, but try telling that to publishers and editors!)

By the way: I have just received my proof-sheet for "Evening translated", which has been accepted for publication in a magazine. My poem "I am a creature of the night" will also be published in another magazine. (YAY!)
