Away but not leaving

With the recent goings on some people might construe my absence of the next three (3) weeks as me having decided enough was enough and that I had slipped away quietly.

No such luck me buckaroos.

I'm going to be swamped this week in preparations so will not be commenting on any poetry and will answer all requests with "See you the week of August 10th!" or some such drivilization.

It's time for my annual trip to Pennsic War, an SCA event were I get to work like a dog and drink and work and teach and work and fight and work and sit around campfires reciting poetry and, oh yeah, work.  Many things to accomplish prior to leaving in the wee hours of July 25 so forestall any premature celebration while I am away for I will be coming back to annoy and incite further.

In the meantime I see we have several "oh no, I am being picked on!" minor skirmishes and would just generally wish all those people who need to feel victimized in order to be validated as much unhappiness as you deserve.  My children learned quickly that tantrums never achieved anything desirable and it is a shame such behaviour is rewarded here.

But I will have to await my return to engage these folks because as amusing as it is to me, I just don't have the spare time.

See you all the week of August 10th, or not if you got your feelings hurt and stomped off by then.  In which case, good riddance, parasite.

That's me, making friends.
