When The World Never Lied
Younger days,Kids at play with their wicked ways,Carefree, no intrepid maze,Smoke free, later that will change,Live free, like your younger days,When it all wasn’t set in stone,Never stoned, not a needle drone,Just an eye for a future place,Younger days,Who could blame,If you were still the same,On the wind heavy rainy days,On the beach with your family,Murky sand crystal history,Started raining droplets hit your face,Stick your tongue out just for the taste,
Now it’s a Friday, and you’re at school,After school kissed your first girl,Open your eyes and see her face,Now close your eyes and picture grace,Instead of where you reside,Wherever you go to hide,See that girl that memory,Where you were once free,When the world never lied.
Now it’s a Friday, and you’re at school,After school kissed your first girl,Open your eyes and see her face,Now close your eyes and picture grace,Instead of where you reside,Wherever you go to hide,See that girl that memory,Where you were once free,When the world never lied.
