The second in the DeMona saga, is called "Deacon". Deacon is going to become DeMona's lover/partner.
Deacon
He who haunts the night
Ravishes the darkness
Alive; he rises to greet Mother Moon
Broad shoulders
Barrel chest
Midnight's only son
Takes to the street again
Charming prince
Toxic dreamer
Blood stained fangs
Beneath a crooked smile
From afar; alone on a corner
He spies another
A potential lover
This is the third and the last one I have for right now. Working on a fourth.
Courtship
From first glace
Beneath a blood soaked sky
He knew she was the one
Every part of his body
Craved what he knew she had
Softly, on noiseless feet
He carries her away
Over his shoulder
To the bowels of his underworld
Quickly, passionately, he makes her his
Feeding off each other's life force
They become one in the same
Forever connected
Forever entwined
Two undead souls
Destined to spend immortality
In each other's arms
