My Garden

My garden

is a place I long to be.

In my garden I feel the movement of every tree.

I see the beauty of every leaf, and twig, every petal,

And every stem on every plant.

Fragrances of heady creation waft to me,

Intoxicating my every sense.

In my garden each tiny little bud,

holds, a promise of gods, creative love.

With each unfurling of a blossom,

Is his divine patience shown.

The creator has shared all the,

secrets he has known.

He smiles in my garden, and gives me his joy.

In my garden the wonders of a child,

with a new toy are mine.

My garden is a gift from the heavens.

This gift, is given to me, I accept it,

with love, and pride.

I look at the hollyhock, with its cotton pink,

blossoms, the lavender with its swaying spikes,

That gives its name.

Elephant ears, so large and green,

like prehistoric giants, rustle,

in the cooling breeze.

I marvel, at the colorful, elegance,

of the gladiolas, both giants and

small.

My, flowers, dazzle, and flaunt, showy, in their beauty.

All the colors of the spectrum are in my garden.

I live, with such, beauty, I am blessed,

With my garden.
