on
my
walk

a storm-felled tree struck
enduring silent blocks my
path; I step round its

fresh corpse to gain the
bridge, and, once there, quiet watch
those birds, so fine in

flight, that abduct their
morning's due ... and by that feed

tab), then left; I cried
at her funeral, and before,
ever since ... and now

Warmth to you anyway for the sweetness of the first works & for

I was thinking all along, how lovely & light these writes, until I got to the last of course, ouch, oddly bunched these ones, but effective in the end. Chuck

"Just the Facts" floored me. It was quite a shock (and well written, too) I am so sorry for the loss that you feel everyday. I wish that there were something that I could say to take the pain away, some wisdom that I could give to you... Big Hugs, Cat

You stumble with the

You stumble with the beautiful and the sad images in your brain spinning together in a strange dance, that of ecsatic blue and devastating grey mourning, wrapped around a poem of remembered sobs and happy moments, all mixed together leaving us tied into your knot of wrung out despair at the injustice of accidents and the loss of your sister. We feel it too, and wish too it were not so. What you have of her is still with you in your heart and her voice can still be heard when you are sad and when you are happy, and life marches on relentlessly so we have to go with its flow, all ending up in the same unknown element ourselves. Woeful atmosphere and sad joy, with love Ann of Norway
