A cartier diamond necklace
As a very neo neopoet member, I should be more circumspect in my remarks but never have been ; So ;
I see words as diamonds in the rough; having potential to be used or discarded at the poet's whim
I see vocabulary as the first cut of these rough diamonds, where the exposed quality of some may be cherished
I see language as the final cut and polish of these stones
I am convinced that poetry is the creation of the necklace by the skill of the poet
Unfortunately most of what I have read so far does not go beyond the clever use of vocabulary
