Love need not be bold
It can be soft like a south wind gently blowing
But, will choose its course,
Love selects its destiny regardless of our wishes.
It can be illogical and make absolutely no sense
Yet leave one feeling immensely satisfied
Gratefully adored, precious, needed; irreplaceable.
When love comes your way,
Do your best to nurture this priceless offering.
For it will not be given lightly,
This offering of self, from one with a sincere heart,
Is meant to compliment you, not bring you down.
