Shambles
Are we all alone? Empty in the wake, the dawning of new days.
A misconception, because there is nothing new under the sun.
We march forth and retrace our steps, glancing back in our sophisticatedly simplistic path.
Well I'm tired and quiet,
Confused and dazed.
Alone, in the dark,
Fire lost in a blaze.
The flame of desire,
That spark in your eyes
Died today.
Glossy glare,
Impending prostitution,
MIsinterpreted calculations.
Searching for answers,
A glance to the ceiling.
Pictures everywhere.
My head is collapsing,
Nervous system gone hay wire.
Did you dream up the distortion in my reality?
What makes it a fantasy?
A misconception, because there is nothing new under the sun.
We march forth and retrace our steps, glancing back in our sophisticatedly simplistic path.
Well I'm tired and quiet,
Confused and dazed.
Alone, in the dark,
Fire lost in a blaze.
The flame of desire,
That spark in your eyes
Died today.
Glossy glare,
Impending prostitution,
MIsinterpreted calculations.
Searching for answers,
A glance to the ceiling.
Pictures everywhere.
My head is collapsing,
Nervous system gone hay wire.
Did you dream up the distortion in my reality?
What makes it a fantasy?
