Truth's Roof

All of the wonders, and powers of the universe
can neither tame the rough terrains,
nor repair broken or shattered relationships.

Every positive thought that's ever ignited a "Golden Moment"
that has surfaced, and turned into a good idea,
has, and will always...turn the world into a better place.

And, once a story's been told, it must grow old.
One cannot add an embellishment to it
without appearing as either an idiot, or a liar.

For these are absolute truths that cannot be denied,
and though there are many other undeniable truths...
each of us must retain one important piece of knowledge.

"Truths" are owned solely by the integrity that they exist under;
and, if one believes not, in sharing the values of the company, under that roof...
then that one must dismiss one's self, before it is done for them.

Many a liar will run and scamper away from the truth,
and many an idiot will attempt to hide exactly under it's roof;
but those, are the idiots and liars that I spoke of earlier.

It will not work, to hope that the universe could gain more powers;
neither would it do, to wish that "Golden Moments" would tame our lives.
What we can all yearn for, is that we all would be, idiots and liars...free!

So as to rid ourselves of the homeless shelters called "deceit",
And so that we could all dwell together..
.....under truth's roof.
