Forums

Please find below the March 2009 contest rules and schedule.  Please direct all questions to me or the AEC.

General Rules

  • Judging
    • Judging will be done by sitting AEC
    • Contest Committee members will not enter contests
    • Sitting AEC members will not enter contests
  • Contest Schedule
    • All contests open the first day of the month and submissions are accepted through the last day of the month with winners being announced within one (1) week
  • Contest Content
    • Each contest will have individual rules to include theme, length, style, etc.  Please review the contest schedule below to determine what contests most interest you and then, if you have the sense of adventure and spirit required, ignore those and only enter the contests that you feel are most problematic for you.  NeoPoet.com is a workshop environment and the contests have been selected to support that concept.
  • Contest Entries
    • Each Contest will officially begin with a Forum Posting listing it’s rules, time-frame, and prize.
    • All entries to the contest will be in the form of responses to this forum post
    • Non contest entries or responses may be modified, moved, or deleted at the sole discretion of the sitting AEC
    • Individuals may submit multiple entries to any contest
  • Prizes
    • The March prize will be a $25.00 Amazon.com Gift Certificate
  • Final word
    • Contest and rules are subject to change until the beginning of each contest
