Poem - A Simple Lunch

A Simple Lunch On my plate,at my table,in my kitchenI have madea simple lunch.Crispy kettle chipsfrom a justopened new bagwith their delectablecrunch and greasy, slightly oily feel.Sweet red grapes, little globes thatexplode between myenormous razor teeth. There juice canbecome wine orcan move onto become vinegar.A good grapeis crisp likean exotic caviar. Finally there isthe main attraction;between two slicesof white breadis the savoryand creamy chickensalad I madeearly yesterday afternoonwith chopped onion, and miracle whip, sweet pickle slices, and a touchof powdered sage.I topped thiswith a sliceof Swiss Ementhaler, cut it diagonallyand enjoy myvery simple lunch.
