Guantanamo to Kansas at what cost?

250 prisoners who are considered terrorist are being held at Guantanamo bay, the talk is to transfer the prisoners to Leavenworth prison. The logistics of transferring 250 terrorist is a military nightmare. In what head does it fit to move terrorist to a nice quiet town and paint a bull’s-eye on it for terrorist. the prisoners are fine where they are because Al Qaeda will not attack Cuba, because of its Communist regime. But Kansas is a horse of another color.  The UN wants nothing to do with them or for that matter no other nation in the UN pack wants anything to do with them, in other words we’re stuck with them. Nice work Mr. Bush for leaving us with this wonderful legacy from your administration.The reason why no other country wants them is two fold: First they don’t want to become a target for terrorism, and second, these prisoners have not been charged or tried for terrorism, the US has not shown any concrete proof of the charges. So what is everyone waiting for lets bring forward the proof and deal with them. What to do, what to do? I am of the opinion that we have plenty of land and space in Alaska, as far up as possible. Siberia in the US the colder the better. Sunny Cuba to the cold of Alaska, tobacco boat to a dogsled. I myself love the idea.The logistics of moving them now becomes simple. We put the prisoners on a boat, and they can go on a cruise to the North pole. Or we can do like the Israeli’s we can just leave them on the boat and call it a floating prison, as far off shore as possible. If other terrorist want to stage an escape let them. Hey the soldiers get paid to put their lives on the line not the citizen of Kansas.
