Let Me Go

Don't hold my heart in,
I don't want to be trapped.
Under deep dark seas,
with no way out.

Don't hold my hand,
like a little child.
I don't need your pity,
I don't need your doubt.

Don't keep me locked up,
in this one small box.
Don't leave me here,
only to wait for my death.

Just let me go,
let me out.

Nice flow to this

Reads very smoothly. I enjoyed the read. Thank you. Respectfully, Rett: "It’s impossible to smile on the outside without feeling better on the inside." Purplemoondoll
