The Woman and the People of Little

They do exist, these people of little;
and I'm openly impressed with this woman.
For I know first hand, what they put her through.
She holds her wits about her, very well.

There was once upon a time,
when I, too was involved
as a care giver for the people of little;
and though that no longer is my livelihood,

I still , quite often...find myself sharing
several moments in time, with the people of little.
I must admit, though that she's much better at it, than I.
For I was more of a Jester, an entertainer as it were.

Her being a care giver, was probably better.
But, I don't believe that one way of attacking the job,
is that much better than the other.
I guess a jester/entertainer falls a little "short".

So what? If it were me that saw the immediate relief
that accompanies the jingling of shiny keys,
in front of their tiny eyes?
who is there to turn me in.......the people of little?
