Flower Girl
She potters round the house and tends her plants,
with gloves and watering-can and trowel,
and sifts and moistens hardening soil,
or picks away dry leaves and flowers.
Busily, she brightens up our home
with all this patient care she gives.
But more than the beauty she creates
what matters is the way she is!
with gloves and watering-can and trowel,
and sifts and moistens hardening soil,
or picks away dry leaves and flowers.
Busily, she brightens up our home
with all this patient care she gives.
But more than the beauty she creates
what matters is the way she is!
