I hate what I have become
I need what you can give
I trust not what I have received
This is the life I lead
Showing my dignity for all to see
Relinquished detached pride
Insignificant fragile heart
Full of putrid disdain
I am lost in this vile game
No worries now
Replace it all with fame
I wrote this with the 'Mona Lisa' in mind but I suppose it could be any 'celebrity'.
