Oh ! Happy Day !
What each of us believes is true
speaks volumes as to who we are,
believing that we're never wrong
won't get us very far...
....Oh ! Happy Day !
And knowing our limitations
can help guide which way to lean,
but, humility and being "all knowing"
is a combination I've never seen...
....Oh ! Happy Day !
Lofty ideas ? Get real !
Impossible's more like it !
Quite frankly, I'd be alarmed
if that pair of shoes would fit ...
....Oh ! Happy Day !
Not only that, but I'd go so far
as to remind you of one more thing,
we'd all go "bonkers" from the boredom
if we knew what the next day'd bring...
....Oh ! Happy Day !
The Desert Breeze, blows through the trees
July's almost out of the way,
and except for the wounded relationships
it was an otherwise happy day...
....Oh ! Happy Day !
