I just listened to someone spouting the tired old BS about “The Fairness Doctrine”. When will people learn to use their mind? All this really amounts to is another effort to control free speech.
The Liberal Socialist leaning Left has Newspapers and TV in their grasp. They are controlled heart, body and soul by the Liberal Left. They can’t stand the fact that Talk Radio is still a bastion of free speech. Nowhere else can you get information that presents the other side of the story.
One thing I have learned over the years is that controlling the media is the goal of socialist leaning people. The three things they MUST control are the Media, Religion and the schools. They have control over most of our young people through Liberal teachers to the point that app. 80% of teachers and professors teach a Liberal agenda representing the USA as evil and sociopathic. They control most of the newspapers and television and constantly bombard us with their beliefs. They are trying hard to make religion a dirty word. If you don’t believe this, talk to a college professor or most of the so-called educated elite. They will immediately jump down your throat if you mention God or Country. They wish to control every aspect of your life from cradle to grave. Your education, your driving habits, your access to fuel, groceries and healthcare. Their response to everything is higher taxes. Instead of drilling and pumping our own oil they wish to wreck the economy by going with non-viable alternatives. A good example is bio-fuel. This is non-sense as the fact is that even with government subsidies; it is not as cheap as what we had before. It is more expensive, pollutes more, and is causing food crop cutbacks because of trying to produce more of this source and the expense of using it. The sad fact is that it does not offer as good gas mileage either. We lose on average 2 mpg using it.
If we don’t come to our senses and stop this nonsense we will find ourselves totally dependent on the government and foreign powers in short order. This country was founded on freedom. We are not a true Democracy; we are a Democratic Republic because a true democracy could never get anything done. We elect representatives to look after our interests. The problem is that “we the people” are not watching after them. They have become corrupt with the search for power and more power. Instead of listening to “we the people”, they are listening to “we the money”. They switch our sight off them and set it upon the President. They blame big oil, big business, talk radio and any number of other things to keep our attention off them. Make no mistake, Congress, the Senate and their appointed liberal Federal Activist Judges are turning this country into a socialist nation. Make no mistake; they will not be satisfied until they have us totally at their mercy. Are they the blame? No, we are! We sit here on our fat backsides and let it happen. We are too lazy to get out and vote. We are too lazy to think for ourselves so we blindly follow what they and their left hand media feed us. Blame President Bush, blame big oil, blame big business, and then turn around and look in the mirror at the real culprit.
