New Contest Announcement!
Create a poem about something that would normally be considered worthless or rotten or nasty or ugly, or even just downright boring and turn it into something really special and/or worthwhile. Any form of poetry is acceptable. The key to winning this contest is an original approach and lots of imagination. The closing date is 31st July 2008.
First prize is ‘Staying Alive’ - an anthology of poetry about humanity and it’s strengths - includes work by W. H. Auden, Mary Oliver, Rita Dove, Louise Glück, and more.
