I have some ideas, methinks...

What do y'all think about adding a little feature or box on the home page that welcomes new members? Half the time, I see work on the site, and I'm like "who the hell is x,y, and z??" - only to find they've been a member for weeks, and have four poems posted, and I missed 'em. Also, and I mentioned this in a previous forum, what do y'all think about a front page restructuring? Instead of posting "teasers" of the poem, why don't we just have a running list of new work? For example:

Weirdelf - Title of Poem
Eveliina - Title of Poem
This allows for more new work to be seen on the front page, thus opening up the possibility for more hits and more comments on the new work. I know on many occasions I have submitted work, and within hours it's on page 7 or 8 already, with only a couple comments. I think this would also help encourage our newer members, as their work may not get swept away as quickly.
