Just like strikes of lightning
start forest fires, so do
false statements made by false friends
Seeing eyes with blank stares
tension starts to rise
not knowing whom I can trust
The sad feeling
inside of me, causes tears to flow
burning my tender pupils
Like cool fresh water,
truth stops the fiery damage and
clears my smeared name
