Death like a leaf in the wind
our dear sister
no longer existence Her smiling face like pink roses
brought joy to those
she left behind A caring sister
in death she sleeps
never forgotten A wife, a mother
a daughter, sister, and cousin
making a difference One day, she will hear a voice say
wake up my daughter
she will no longer remember the sorrow, pain, or tears No more questions to be asked
only joy, peace, and security
will prevail Smiles on faces of all left behind
their tears forever gone
in a new earth and new heavens
Free from the difficulty you once new
or the illness that slowed you down
happy once again all will be
