Institute of Children's Literature

Okay, I know I have received mail from this organization before - and once I did submit my "writing aptitude test."   A couple of weeks later the results came in the mail and, of course, I was greatly qualified for their program and showed definite talent for writing children's books!   I never replied again and eventually they stopped sending me information.

Yesterday I received yet another mailing from them.  Now they are actually an "accredited" college (which means they can offer you college credits towards higher education).  They promise that you will have at least one published manuscript by the time you complete their course.  Supposedly you are instructed by talented and published authors as your professors.

I still think that this is a scam.  I'm sure I could do some digging on the internet and find out more, but I'd rather ask all of your opinions.  Not that I'm thinking of joining the program, I'd just like to be able to warn others if this is yet another Poetry.com type of situation.

Thanks everyone!
