It's good to be Sarkozy!

Nicholas Sarkozy is the president of France. Carla Bruni is a former model, but now she is a singer in France. Recently, he divorced his wife. About two months ago, he met Carla Bruni. Now, he travels everywhere with her and there's more coverage of his love life, than his political plans for the future. There's a lot of discussion in France now as to whether there's too much of a focus on his personal life. Many feel that it is inappropriate for him to be running around with a beautiful new girlfriend, so soon after divorcing his wife. I get the impression that such things are standard practice in France, however it is important to be tactful about such things, and he is certainly not doing that. She has already said that she doesn't believe in monogamy, so if they get married, they will probably get divorced. He's already been divorced twice, so divorce number three is probably coming soon. I'm not sure how it would sound to take out the word "they". Do you have a specific suggestion? Thank-you for your comment! Michael
