The Trailer Park

The day has begun,

the final day of 2007.

Where, I wonder childlike.....where will it take us?

Where will it take me?

Not necessarily this day, but the coming year.

I'd better put on the "Cordial Face", now.

I really must take out the trash.

But, beyond this mask lies the truth,

I know every thing about them.

"Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer."

Whoever said that was as right as rain.

Behind my eyes lies the murky truth,

of each of thier existence.

Oh...the stories I could tell...

..but, not now.

Believe me, I anger not,

it is the collective "they", that disturbs me...

..for I have done nothing.

I merely wish to be left alone.

To live my life as I wish.

That is all.....and it was like that, at first.

But now, they whisper and point at me.....and gossip.

I guess it's not so bad. That's what happens in a trailer park.

And what goes on in the trailer park,

stays in the trailer park.........................................................right?
