All the poems I've posted on this site with an exception of a few,have all been written in my teens and early twenties.I wanted some feedback on the old me as a poet,before writer's block set in.I haven't been able to write for a while but I'm beginning to feel the muse grant her favor once again.This site has helped that return to what I love so much,which is writing poetry.

 I chose the username calliope for she is the muse of epic poetry and rhetoric.I hope to live up to this namesake,and pray I still have some poetry left in me.

 On a personal note I've just had a beautiful baby boy on the 21st of November,and he has inspired me on a whole new level.So give me honest opinions and critique.
