Poetic Waiver

  To follow will be a poem

  a poem written with barbs

  to shred restraint

 nothing derogatory

 or even obscene

however it will

make you think

just one request I ask

of you first please

sign this waiver before

you view it

so that if it gets under

your skin I will not

be required to

remove it

if it gets a rise out of you

or throws you in to a fit

the poet that wrote it(me)

will not have to explain

himself to you(the reader).
