Overcome by Air
I am overcome
by air
I breathe in -
sweet.
I
can taste it
I
can close my eyes
and appreciate
sound,
sound,
music?
I
can take a deep breath,
fill my lungs
left and right
and feel
them expand.
Like most humans
I can not take
consecutive deep breaths this
is to make the first
much sweeter,
breathe.
I
can feel this breath
the air,
populating my brain
reverberating
slow
chimes
POWER!
A manly sound,
making
the muscles
the muscles
the muscles
of my upper body tense
strength
and then
chimes,
not frenetic,
not peace,
not calm
yet, yes
grace,
peace,
something sexy
something
sublime,
something
complex
a word,
a touch
I
am overcome by air
not crushed,
oh no
far from it
I
can breathe
can startle
can whisper
compare
can crack wise
can taste
can sense
I
belong
believe
can talk
and act
and smile my razor teeth.
Silence
chimes
water
and pure quartz
intermission,
so now
house lights up
window shop
the various personalities
when in fact
it's one,
two,
progressive?
Nicht!
Little demons
breathing my air,
my heir
right -
executor,
molded,
sculpted,
broken mold
so I
breathe
back to the table
back to my breath
chime
POWER!
Fills my chest
Crescendos?
No!
An abrupt stop
release,
breath,
THUNDER!
I am overcome
in my brain
my head
body
and down my arms
till my fingers tap
wander
tracing sounds
musical notes
on an imaginary syllabus.
Today I think
my mind
my active mind
aroused
tell the heart
to wait
(heavy, rhythmic percussion for several beats)
games
gains
shame
same?
Stasis,
nay.
