Rivers of blood

Visions of death,Dancing in my head,So much blood,The river runs red. Driven mad by noises,Dazed and defenseless,Beaten senseless. Cut them,Stab them,Beat them in the head,Rip them open,To make sure they're dead. So much pain,So much gore,Blood gushes,From every pore. They've taken lives,From delicate seas,And turned them into delicacies. Once they were a family on the mend. Now they're a family on the menu. If you please,Tell the Japanese,To find something else to eat. No matter how,They yell and grunt,It's time to end this dolphin hunt. I love animals!I hate people!People act like animals!Animals act like people!

I don't know of what you are speaking I didn't know any one was eatten dolfins on purpose like the poem was a good read and informatable I like dolfins espesily Flipper

I Am Well Aware ...

of the killings that are the subject of your piece. It's not only the Japanese who kill such gracious animals; it appears to be a worldwide effort on the part of various groups in multiple countries. Although the Japanese do seem particularly vicious/sadistic in their treatment of such life that is so deserving of our respect ... and even love. Your piece, because of both its timeliness and content, deserves the longest possible running spotlight on the home page of this site. I gave it a five-vote within the hour after you posted it. I wish others had done the same. Although I habitually avoid giving anything like a vote of five stars to any piece that has at least a few too many commas, as I think this one does, I made an important exception that I think must be made in this case. I urge the folks who gave out fours to reconsider a change to fives. And I would like others to give it the five-star attention it so richly deserves. In special appreciation for a magnificent piece, Michael. And thanx so much for it. Chuck

I just now came across ...

an American proverb that speaks of killing time, although a different twist of meaning referring instead to a time of killing makes it apt, I think, for the subject of dolphin murder: "[A] killing time is not murder; it's suicide." If ever we do, when will we get it? Yours, Chuck

I don't know how it would be listed on the menu, it might be sushi, or it might be listed as dolphin. Since I'm sure it would only be served in Japan, I don't know how we would find out except by asking a Japanese person. Thanks for your interest ! Sincerely, Michael

Thanks for your support! This is one that I was hoping would make it to the spotlight, but it never did, and I doubt that it ever will make it to the spotlight. And then again, who knows, it seems to have picked up a few more stars recently,so I suppose if a few more people give it a high rating, it just might make it! Sincerely, Michael
