For the ones I love

For the ones I love

Forgotten words of love

Whispers of promises broken

Love and hope gained from above

That in words is often left unspoken

But when I look into their eyes

I see a long forgotten innocence

And then I begin to realize

And remember things from the past

Trickles of childish laughter

Playfulness sparkles from their eyes

My son & my daughter

My two hears, my two souls

There is a light in their eyes

That brings out my inner youth

My freedom to discover my

Long lost inner child

Two people more precious to me

More valuable than any jewel

More important than any other person

In this world and the one beyond

This is for you my babies

My angels, my hearts

My souls, in you lies the keys

To my newfound part

In the world we now live

In the universe we stay

As you are mine to love

I would not have it any other way
