You were at the crest of innocence

Bordering on the precipice of new discovery

But you will never get the chance

You will not have that much needed last dance

Your memory will always be held high

You will never be forgotten

Your legacy is one that will remain

A legacy that has caused so much pain

The future was yours for the taking

But was taken away from you, leaving hearts breaking

Shattering at the pain of your loss

Will this ever be bearable?

Even though you are gone

You will be safe in the arms of the Lord

He will keep you safe and your spirit

Will always walk amongst us

As a reminder of innocence taken to soon

Youth never really experienced

Life never really lived
