ROSES

ROSES

By: Alexander Duque

Roses bunch of roses given to you,

Is it love or your just posses by the beauty and the color?

So what is it to honor?

The color is perfect,

But is there anybody who protect?

One day petals will fall,

Is there anybody to call?

It will be shattered into pieces

And you try to gather it all and put it together

 But it won’t stay forever.

Hoping its beauty will last,

But all of it is in the passed,

All you have is lust.

It just happened so fast.

You cried so hard caused you lost everything,

 Now you got nothing but a thorn that sting;

 Don’t you think it’s only a fling?

All of it will not stay together,

The love inside will be forever.

Won’t be like a bunch of roses that will dry and die,

So please don’t cry,

Love will never die

It will always grow and multiply.
