daddy its your little girl writing to say hi
i was really young when you had to say good bye
i talk to you at night to let you know i care
I’ll never find out why you were never there
i think of you sometimes when i go to sleep
sometimes late at night i lay down and i weep
just to know your not hear to see your grandson grow

so i would have known the person they talk about
