Born Before

He looked as his hand, and the many lines on his palm.

And pondered, with an air of ease and calm.

Had he in fact lived before, in another time.

To most who heard the theory, thought it sublime.

Who could he share this with, this feeling so strong.

And a deep rooted need for a sense to belong.

She has an air about her, that really is quite pure.

Then all of a sudden it comes to mind.

Why didn’t he see it before, was he really been that blind.

It is his grandmother who died tragically, before he was born.

Then day turned to night and all were gone.

He awoke with a startle, and rubbed his eyes.

And all became clear, and his mind was reposed.

With a revelation he now realized.

That he had been born before, as his trance had exposed
