pa in the raw

a couple of times
in old summer climes

we thought we saw
our pa in the raw.

it was but bare glimpse
by us little imps.

it was just enough
of pa in the buff

that we couldn’t see,
we did all agree,

why dear old ma
would like what she saw

in dear old pa.
