What am I without you

p>

What am I without you

A shell of a former being

Not dead but then not quite alive

A horse without a rider

A car without an engine

A house without a roof

Walking about invisiable to myself

Those around me swirl in an opaque curtain

Knowing they are there unable to make out shape or form

I visualise you by feeling

By emotion

Picking out parts in an old time movie

Miming the dialouge

A line less actor

A dream thats lost in the space of time

Which has no concept in this void

That I call life

What am I without the warmth of your heart

Of the eyes that will never look upon me again

Of the smile that is cherished deep inside

I walk aimlessly in a blizzard of sadness

Where each snowflake falls hyperthermic

On a unfeeling soul

I fight hard to feel to see good

But the heart is frozen hard

I know what I am without you

I know what I am with you
