Dancing Shadows
Dance inside a crystal ball.
Throw a shadow across the wall.
Make the shadows ,dance to the pipers tune.
To the light that cast from the silvery moon.
Shadows dance and spin around.
From the ceiling to the ground.
Holding hands then curtsey, and bow.
The dance of the shadows, the time is now.
Dance to the rhythm, Sway round and round.
As if they were dancing, to a silent sound.
Whereas there is no sound, the music is loud.
As the dancing shadows, gather in a crowd.
They stand in a circle, when two emerge.
Holding hands they shuffle, then diverge.
They lead the group, to dance in a chain.
Together and separate, they always remain.
Dancing seductively, dancing jolly.
Dancing shadows, in a midnight folly.
Dancing on the ceiling, dancing on the floor.
Round the brass mounted wall lights, dancing on the door.
Till when silvery moon decides.
Its time for the shadows, to take a ride.
And Mr daylight, comes out to play.
And chases, all the dancing shadows away.
But on some dark, and moonlit night.
When the shadows again, are cast so right.
The shadows from the darkness, will arise
And dance to the pipers tune, in a new enterprise
