My Love For You

To the rocky ledge I crept;
It was later that I leapt.

I died, in any event,
And then it was to hell I went.

My love for you I kept.
Did you get the mail I sent?

I love

your dark whimsy it's a breath of fresh air. You think I shall rhyme now... to judge me ain't fair! So of this poem I do say "by mate, you're alright!" Hope to see a bunch more today, and a flood a 'em tonight! Mark

love this

I'm always amazed at how so little can say so much. I love this poem. It feels like something I've felt before. Hanging over the edge ready to let go of life, love and all that jazz.
