We're back!
We had some server downtime over the past few days. We want to let everyone know we're back.
The good news is that our backup system worked - we have 100% of our data right up until the point that our server failed. But we didn't have a second server ready to go and unfortunately, at the time our server failed Andrew, our technology expert, was on vacation.
We're taking the lessons learned during this challenging period and using it to build a stronger "business continuity" plan. We plan to strengthen our backup system and most importantly, we plan to always have a second server ready to go in case our production server fails. And as our community grows, we're planning on implementing safeguards beyond these basic measures.
We want to personally assure our members we won't have downtime like this ever again. We're back, and we're here to stay.
On a more positive note, over the next few days we're rolling out a few new exciting features. We'll keep you updated as always on the Poet411 Blog.
