As this community grows, I would like to entertain a thought for the future. I know that most here would hate to see advertisement sold. It would help defray operating expenses. It could also help fund our own press. It would be something that could help a lot of struggling new poets out. It would make a real publishing credit on a resume'. It would also help establish this as a dedicated and legitimate community. By publishing our selves, we as a small press would also be able to promote and or nominate a poet(s) for the annual Push Cart award for excellence in Poetry. This is a very prestigious award for the small press community. This is a thought or a series of thoughts I have been having of late. For those who might read this BLOG, I hope it makes you want to comment on it. I don't care if, its here on my blog page or in the public forum. Regardless, I think its a subject for the not too distant future, that will need discussion. All the Best! David
