OBEISANCE

OBEISANCE

These whimpering fools just disgust me
Yet I still allow them to show obeisance
Do they believe there is a higher power
And yet always before me, they cower
I must try hard to hide my impatience
How much longer do I suffer indignity

One is whispering falsehoods in my ear
Another grasping hold of my forefinger
Soon I must command them to begone
And my response, I should think upon
A distaste that I feel continues to linger
On their skin, I smell the sweat of fear

I own them, and they know it too well
So spineless, but their meat tastes good
I allow this display, only for the crowd
All gathered outside and shouting loud
I can kill them now, as I know I should
With one command, I can release Hell
