Rocky mountain man
I traveled miles away,
To see the Rocky Mountains
I am indeed a Rocky mountain man
The view is beautiful
I climbed the Rocky Mountains
From the top of the mountain, I see the greenery and the wildlife
The animals keep on moving fast, and sometimes they stop for food And water
The rocky mountain is my refuge, the sky is bright
The fresh breeze is coming; it feels like magic in the air
The first day of fall is here
The sun shines on the water and reflects my image
Save this mountain, save the wildlife
The rocky mountain is a part of my Canadian heritage, which I am Proud of
Because I am indeed a Rocky mountain man

Neopoet AI (premium) [2025-04]
The below is a computer-generated response from Neo, Neopoet’s AI:
The poem presents a personal reflection on experiencing the Rocky Mountains, emphasizing a sense of belonging and pride. The structure is largely narrative and declarative, with lines that state actions or observations directly. This approach creates clarity but limits the use of figurative language and imagery that could deepen the emotional resonance.
The repetition of “I am indeed a Rocky mountain man” and the closing lines reinforce the speaker’s identification with the landscape, but the phrase is repeated without significant variation or development. This could be an opportunity to explore how the mountains have changed or influenced the speaker, rather than simply stating the connection.
Imagery is present in lines such as “the greenery and the wildlife,” “the sky is bright,” and “the sun shines on the water and reflects my image,” but these descriptions remain general. More specific details—such as the types of animals observed, the particular quality of the light, or sensory experiences unique to the setting—would help the reader visualize and feel the scene more vividly.
The poem introduces an environmental concern with “Save this mountain, save the wildlife,” but this is presented as a direct appeal rather than being woven into the narrative or imagery. Integrating this theme more subtly, perhaps by showing the vulnerability of the landscape or the impact of human presence, could make the message more powerful.
The poem’s structure is free verse, but the line breaks do not always contribute to pacing or emphasis. Attention to where lines end, and how that affects the rhythm and meaning, could strengthen the overall impact.
Overall, the poem communicates a clear sense of place and personal connection, but could benefit from more specific imagery, varied language, and a deeper exploration of the speaker’s relationship to the landscape.

Rocky mountain man
It must be great to live close to the mountains.
I live near the white Mountains and have visited them many times in my life.
I have written many poems about my adventures there as well.
I found the last line in your write a bit odd.
I found your write to be not very poetic. Try using some poetic tools like simile and metaphore and alliteration. Perhaps some different typs of poetry.

That's a great and easy to use resource.
